Here Are a Few Custom Swords We Have Made Over the Years

Six years ago we started an Etsy shop as homeschoolers living on a farm. We always had a passion for weapons and working with wood which is what inspired us to start selling wooden swords.

We sold our first sword and got our first 5 star review, and our Etsy shop started to pick up. As we sold more swords, we kept upgrading our shop and our skill level increased quickly until we realized we could basically build any sword we wanted. So we started doing custom swords and now here we are.

There is no better feeling for us than looking at a finished sword and wondering," how the heck did we make that".

The Building Process

For every new custom sword we start the build by printing out a full size picture of the sword, using multiple pages, to a size that fits the dimensions given by the customer.

Using that as our stencil we carve out the blade, guard, handle, pommel, and we sand everything very smoothy. Finally, we paint it exactly as it is in the pictures with special paint, coat it with a durable finish, and glue all the pieces together.

For shipping, we cut out our own boxes to accommodate the different sizes and shapes of the sword. Then we protect it with bubble wrap so it does not break:)

For each unique design a lot of time goes into figuring out the different processes of carving. Depending on the design, each project will take us between 20 and 70 hours of work combined.

Yes that is a lot of time, but we are perfectionists, and we take pride and satisfaction in building perfect pieces of art, so every little detail maters to us. We genuinely enjoy making pieces of art that customers will cherish hopefully for generations.

How to Get Your Own Custom Sword

All you need to do is fill out the Inquiry Form describing the sword you want, along with as many photos of it you can find. Then we will give you a quote based on the difficulty of the design.

Customer Satisfaction

The priority for us is making our customers feel happy and secure. Once the price has been agreed on we ask for a 50% down payment and the rest would be paid once the project is complete. As we build the sword, we send progress pictures regularly to customers so they can follow along and feel like part of the process.

FAQs

Got Questions? Find Answers to Popular Inquiries Below!

How long does each project take?

Most projects take between 20–70 hours of hands-on work, depending on the complexity of the design.

What materials are used to make the swords?

Every sword is hand carved from mainly hard maple wood, then painted and finished with a durable protective coat. Usually Laquer.

How much does each sword weigh?

Our swords typically weigh between 2–4 pounds, much lighter than most people expect.

Can I order accessories like a wall mount?

Yes — we offer accessories like wall mounts. Just mention it in your inquiry and we'll include it in your quote.

What is your return policy?

Because every sword is custom-built to your specifications, we don't accept returns. If you're not satisfied with the final result, we'll work with you to make reasonable adjustments within the scope of the original design.

Is shipping included in the price?

Yes — all listed prices include shipping.

Are the swords 3D printed?

No — every sword is 100% hand carved from solid maple wood, not printed or machine-cut.

Why are they so expensive?

Each sword takes 20–70 hours of skilled handwork to carve, sand, paint, and finish. You're paying for the time, craftsmanship, and one-of-a-kind detail that goes into a piece built specifically for you — not a mass-produced item.

What is the timeline for the delivery?

Absolutely, our workshops are designed for all skill levels, offering personalized guidance.
